Our first inspiration for this company was our children.  Like them, we were not avid readers until we read that ONE book that changed the trajectory of our reading lives.  We wanted to start a company that gives our consumers more of what they want: better access to the literary culture that has been dismissed and/or hidden in Western society. 

The above scripture is the inspiration for our name.  Reading this scripture helps you understand that how some may perceive your existence is not necessarily reality.  No group alone serves as the benchmark of society; you are not some outsider or anomaly meant to be discounted, disregarded, and disenfranchised. You were made in HIS image, and that is what makes you important.
